We helped design and build a new detached self build house in the Buckinghamshire Green belt with a new basement. Our clients had bought the land with permission approved for a modest new dwelling. We explored the option of adding additional much needed space through the re-design of the plans and incorporating a new basement level. We were able to secure the planning permission for the new basement as well as the changes all within the limitations of the Green Belt planning policy.
Once planning was approved we produced a full detailed design package and assisted on site to create a wonderful new dwelling. The dwelling was designed as a timber frame with MVHR and Air Source Heat Pump heating and modern interior finishes. The project was undertaken as a self build and has created a wonderful new family home. Final photographs to follow shortly.
