We have recently achieved planning approval for the extension and refurbishment of a Heritage property in the Gerrards Cross Conservation Area. The property is on a prominent corner in Oval Way and was locally listed as a Heritage Asset, which means any alterations needs to respect the character of the existing building.
We re-designed the layout of the property to enable a new rear extension to provide an open plan kitchen and dining room, plus new external entertaining spaces. In addition, we included a new two storey side extension to provide a family room as well as a new master bedroom suite. We were able to create the new layout to combine and respect the heritage of the listed building and gained support of the local heritage planning officer for the proposals.
