We were commissioned by a local church to consider the Feasibility of integrating a new community cafe within the existing main church building.
The proposals were developed to enable the Parish to grow and reach out to the wider community enabling the church to be a centre for worship and community life within
activity, with the concept of the cafe acting as the catalyst.
The main proposal we developed was to link the Church & Community Hall with a new cafe building, which created the potential to bring new visitors into the church and to improve the user
experience for existing visitors. The design provided a purpose built facility which also would become a flexible space for other community activities.
The proposals were well received and further work is ongoing to establish the feasibility of the option with the Church's wider aspirations.
