We worked for an Interior Design firm on the major refurbishment of an existing high end residential property for an owner occupier family. The proposals included the full renovation of the existing property internally with new two storey extension to the rear to create a new cinema room and master suite, plus structural works to create a new kitchen with new single storey extension and works to the entrance of the property.
We secured a number of planning permissions from the local authority to cover the different elements of the work. We also produced a number of CGI images for the proposals which enabled client sign off for the design of the interior.
The design of the new two storey extension was undertaken to provide additional accommodation. The design was to be in keeping with the existing house and was to sit sympathetically into the existing landscaped gardens. The design of the new single storey glass extension was designed to be a modern and crisp new element for the house which enabled natural light to flood the new enlarged kitchen.
