On Saturday 8 July, the Henley Town Hall was the location for the RIBA Henley Design Day for the fifth successive year. Supported by RIBA, this showcase event brings architects and designers together under one roof so residents can speak directly to architectural practices.
We had a steady stream of people who were interested in our projects and who wanted to chat to James about their own projects.
Sarah Miller from the RIBA, who organised the event, said “This is the first time we had run the RIBA Henley Design Day mid-summer. We had previously run this event in March, when most people consider home improvements and building works. With the Henley Royal Regatta just behind us, and the Henley Festival underway, we didn’t know what to expect on Saturday. As it turned out, Henley was very busy and we had over 200 visitors throughout the day. We were all delighted!”
